    Scientific Illustrator out and about

    A scientific illustrator paints, draws and also gets out and about.  Most of these illustrated blogs describe courses in plant and animal biology Lizzie has been on.  They also cover trips, lectures, and meetings with like-minded scientific illustrator types.  As a scientific illustrator, it’s vital both to keep on learning new things about your subject matter, and to feed your passions.

    Biolblitz and Freshwater Life

    I recently went to a “bioblitz” day organised by Radnorshire Wildlife Trust, looking for freshwater life at their nature reserve in Tylcau hill.  For a natural history illustrator, such an event is inspiring and educational.
